in highschool, this girl put a fish on my buddies exhaust, she tied it up there so it wouldn't fall off, so, I am at home work on the Z31, he pulls up in his 69 Couger, I almost barfed, the smell was SO bad, he jumps out of the car and is like, "Dude, you got to help me, I think somebody did something to my car". Yeah, no shit sherlock, seriously, in less than one minute, there were flys everywhere. We found the fish, but it had literally baked on. Couldn't really get it off, he just had to drive around in a nasty ass smelling car for a few days until the smell went away.
